Here is a useful technique for finding common ground when you are having a disagreement. It’s called the Pillow Method. It invites you to take an issue that you and another person, for example
your partner, co-worker or friend would typically disagree on, putting you on opposing, or opposite sides of the argument. In this exercise, you’ll each be charged with looking at the “issue” from different perspectives or sides, like the 4 sides of a pillow or a square. Let’s get started.
